The members of the Land Cruiser Club of the Philippines (LCCP), one of the longest-running car clubs in the country, consisting of Toyota Land Cruiser enthusiasts, are hosting a trail and overland adventure that also doubles as a meaningful humanitarian relief operation at Mt. Pinatubo.
On January 31 to February 1, 2026, the LCCP is going on a special trail and overlanding adventure at one of the most iconic off-roading spots in the country, Mt. Pinatubo. But more than just the off-road adventure, the trip to Pinatubo also aims to reach out to Aeta communities in the area and extend aid by offering relief goods.
“Since the 1991 eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, the Land Cruiser Club of the Philippines has been returning to the area to provide relief and assistance to the Aeta communities,” said Kelly Tiu, LCCP President. “Over the years, this has become a tradition for the club, making Mt. Pinatubo closely associated with the Land Cruiser Club of the Philippines and our commitment to service and outreach.”

Despite being hosted by Toyota Land Cruiser enthusiasts, this special adventure is not limited to the legendary Toyota off-roaders only. LCCP is opening the invitation to all 4×4 rigs. As per LCCP, the event is open to all makes and models, provided the vehicle has a fully operational 4×4 system and is suitable for the challenging terrain the Pinatubo trail entails.
“We invited other 4×4 enthusiasts to join our trip so they could also share their own charitable efforts. This allowed us to build camaraderie and strengthen bonds, even among members from different clubs, united by the same purpose of helping others,” shared Tiu.
Registration fee is at P4,000 per vehicle, and each vehicle may bring up to 10 passengers, including the driver. The registration includes one event sticker, a first aid kit, a Go Bag, one raffle entry, and relief goods to be given to the Aetas. Register by December 31, 2025, and get a free event shirt.

The club requires participants to bring their own recovery gear. Though assistance may be limited, club members are willing to assist any participant in case of a vehicle bogging down during the trail.
When asked what more to expect with LCCP in the coming new year, the club president said, “In 2026, you can expect more activities, more trails, and continued outreach efforts from the Land Cruiser Club of the Philippines. We aim to expand both our adventures and our community involvement.”
