GWM Philippines is expanding its reach with the signing of two new dealer partners: GTRS Automotive Inc. for GWM Tarlac and Auto Lucena South Inc. for GWM Lucena. The agreements mark another milestone for the brand’s official local distributor, Luxuriant Automotive Group Inc. (LAGI), as it continues to make GWM’s presence felt across the Philippines.

Both dealerships will operate as full-scale 3S facilities, offering vehicle sales, after-sales service, and spare parts availability under one roof. This ensures that customers in Central and Southern Luzon areas can expect comprehensive support from vehicle sales to after-sales care. The move aligns with GWM’s goal of making its products and services more accessible to customers beyond major urban centers.

Dax Avenido, Brand Head of GWM Philippines, shares that the addition of the Tarlac and Lucena dealership underscores the company’s commitment to growth and customer convenience. He added, “Our growing dealer network not only ensures convenience for customers but also strengthens the trust and confidence in our brand.”

The expansion comes at a time of strong business momentum for GWM in the local market. In August, it achieved its highest sales since entering the country, a 30% increase over the previous month. The positive growth has been driven primarily by strong demand for the GWM Cannon, its entry into the highly contested pickup truck segment, proving that it, too, can go head-to-head with the country’s top segment players.

GWM Philippines’ strategic approach of establishing 3S dealerships in key provincial areas allows it to deliver world-class products and services to more people, an important factor in building long-term customer relationships. The brand is set to further strengthen its presence in key regions by continuing to explore new locations nationwide. GWM says that it will announce more dealership expansions in the months to come, setting its sights on a brighter year ahead.
