This prestigious ranking, conducted by aqsiqauto.com, an official website under China’s State Administration for Market Regulation, evaluated various models across five key dimensions: defect complaints, defect risks, reliability, safety, and environmental performance.
The ranking is based on comprehensive data from the China Automobile Quality Network and aligns with the Guidelines for Safety Risk Assessment and Risk Control of Automobile Products, as well as the Guidelines for Judging Serious Safety Performance of Household Automobile Products, both enforced by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration.
Emzoom Secures 5-Star ASEAN NCAP Safety Rating
In addition to its quality recognition, the GAC Emzoom has also achieved a 5-Star ASEAN NCAP Safety Rating, further enhancing its credentials as a safe and reliable vehicle. The Emzoom is the first model under the GAC MOTOR marque to undergo the ASEAN NCAP assessment, where it excelled in all categories, including Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), Child Occupant Protection (COP), Safety Assist (SA), and Motorcyclist Safety (MS), earning an overall score of 88.39 points.
The Philippine debut of the Emzoom Touring: Elevating Style and Performance
GAC MOTOR Philippines proudly announces the launch of the Emzoom Touring, a new addition to the Emzoom lineup that enhances both style and performance. This latest variant introduces a sportier design, highlighted by the R-Style Body Kit, center-mounted dual exhaust pipes, and a distinctive Touring badge. The Emzoom Touring’s dynamic appearance closely mirrors the premium aesthetics of the top-tier R-Style variant, offering customers a visually striking option at an exceptional value. Despite these enhancements, the Emzoom Touring is priced competitively at Php 1,098,000, the same as the current Emzoom GB model.
Under the hood, the Emzoom Touring is powered by a 1.5 TGDI engine paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7WDCT), delivering 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. The interior is thoughtfully designed with a leather steering wheel, a 10.25″ Multifunctional Touchscreen Display supporting Apple CarPlay and Android integration, leather seats, second-row air conditioning vents, and a rear USB port, ensuring comfort and convenience for all passengers.
Safety and technology are also at the forefront, with features such as Cruise Control, a Rear View Camera, Passive Entry Passive Start, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Hill-Start Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, and an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto-hold.
The Emzoom Touring is available in a range of stylish colors:

Starting on August 19, 2024, the Emzoom Touring will be available at all GAC MOTOR dealerships nationwide. As with all GAC Motor vehicles, the Emzoom Touring comes with an after-sales warranty covering the first five years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
