Ford Philippines has officially announced the upcoming arrival of the all-electric Mustang Mach-E, scheduled to hit local showrooms in the third quarter of 2025. The highly anticipated launch marks the company’s first foray into the electric vehicle (EV) segment in the country and signifies a major step in its electrification journey.
A bold symbol of Ford’s future, the Mustang Mach-E is the brand’s first ground-up all-electric vehicle. It brings together the iconic performance heritage of the Mustang nameplate with cutting-edge EV technology and impressive driving range. Since the original Mustang first rolled off production lines in 1964, the pony car has come to symbolize American freedom, innovation, and rebellious spirit. Now, over six decades later, that same spirit is being reimagined for the electric era.
“It is only fitting that we take our big leap in our electrification journey with an iconic Ford vehicle,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines. “The arrival of the Mach-E reinforces Ford as a credible and must-watch player in the electric vehicle segment in the country.”

First unveiled globally in 2019, the Mustang Mach-E is available in several variants in other markets, including standard rear-wheel drive and more powerful all-wheel drive GT versions. It boasts modern tech features such as Ford’s SYNC 4A infotainment system, over-the-air software updates, and a range of up to 500 kilometers on a full charge, depending on the variant.
Ford Philippines has yet to confirm which specific trims or battery configurations will be offered locally, but the company says full details—including pricing, features, and dealership availability—will be announced closer to launch.
The Mach-E’s arrival comes amid growing momentum for electric mobility in the Philippines. Government incentives, such as zero import duties and excise taxes for electric vehicles under the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA), are encouraging carmakers and consumers alike to embrace the shift to EVs.

While the local EV market remains in its early stages, interest has been steadily rising thanks to a combination of rising fuel prices, greater environmental awareness, and an increasing number of EV models entering the scene. Ford aims to be at the forefront of this shift.

Simoes also highlighted the loyal community of Mustang owners in the Philippines as a key factor in the Mach-E’s local debut. “With a continuously growing community of Mustang owners in the Philippines, the Mustang Mach-E will surely give enthusiasts an electrified experience like no other,” he said.
As Ford Philippines prepares to roll out its first electric vehicle, the launch of the Mustang Mach-E is more than just a product release—it’s a signal that the blue oval brand is charging full speed into the future of mobility.
