Ford Philippines has expanded the Ranger lineup by introducing the new Ranger Raptor Special Edition and Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition. The two special edition Ranger trucks debuted at the 2025 Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival, happening at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Concert Grounds until November 16.

The Ranger Raptor and Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition vehicles feature cosmetic exterior updates, making them stand out from the current Ford Ranger model lineup. Both special edition trucks still come with the same interior design and power unit as the standard Ranger variants available in the Philippines. Think of it like the Suzuki Jimny 3-Door and 5-Door Rhino Edition models that feature variant-specific decals or stickers, but still have the same interior and engine.

The Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition has a black sport hoop or sport bar that provides additional mounting points for accessories, making it more adventure-ready. It also comes with distinctive decals with gloss ‘Raptor’ lettering. This special edition pickup truck is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine that delivers 392 horsepower and 583 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Debuting alongside the Ranger Raport Special Edition is the Ford Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition that comes with new 18-inch beadlock-style wheels. It is also fitted with gloss ‘Wildtrak’ lettering that’s integrated into the decal placed on the lower part of the pickup truck’s doors.

Under the hood, the Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition can be equipped with either a 2.0-liter single turbo or 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine, which is the same as the standard 4×2 and Wildtrak 4×4 Ranger models. The former produces 168 hp and 405 Nm of torque, and it is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the bi-turbo diesel engine generates 207 hp and 500 Nm of torque, and it comes with a 10-speed automatic.

It comes in the following color options: Absolute Black, Arctic White, Aluminum Metallic, Blue Lightning, and Meteor Grey. Pricing for the Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition 4×2 is at P1,984,000, while the Ranger Wildtrak Special Edition 4×4 is priced at P2,375,000.

Of note, Ford PH said that both the Ranger Raptor and Wildtrak Special Edition will be available in a limited quantity of 100 units each in 2025.
