A joint report by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) shows total vehicle sales for July 2021 reached 21,498 units, equivalent to 4.7% growth than the 20,542 units recorded in the same period last year.
CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez said that “the industry welcomed the year-on-year growth of 4.7% but anticipates a decline in sales this month with the reimposition of ECQ in NCR, among other high-risk areas.”
Year-to-date, the industry has sold 154,265 units, a 46.1 increase compared with the same period last year.
