All-New Changan CS35 Max debuts in latest brand campaign

Inchcape Philippines, the exclusive local distributor of Changan, recently unveiled its “Drive Smart, Drive Changan” campaign event, highlighting the brand’s expanding lineup and growing focus on electrified mobility. The showcase brings together new model launches, previews, and test drive opportunities aimed at strengthening Changan’s presence among Filipino car buyers.

Visitors to the event were given access to both static exhibits and on-site test drives. Among the vehicles available for public testing are the all-new CS35 Max, all-new Eado Plus, Nevo Hunter 4×2 REEV, and the Nevo Q05 plug-in hybrid. Also featured are the compact Lumin battery electric vehicle (BEV) and a preview of the upcoming CS55 Plus, which is expected to arrive as a plug-in hybrid model.

Leading the presentation is the launch of the All-New Changan CS35 Max. The compact crossover adopts a sharper design language, along with larger proportions and a longer 115 mm wheelbase for improved cabin space. It is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 180 hp and 300 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Changan offers the CS35 Max in Lite and Luxe variants, priced at P1,109,999 and P1,199,999, respectively.

Another key highlight is the recently launched all-new Eado Plus sedan, It is positioned as an accessible yet well-equipped option in the compact sedan segment. The model, which has seen strong performance in the Chinese market, carries a starting price of P750,000, with an introductory offer of P699,000 available for a limited time.

Electrification plays a central role in the brand’s direction. The Nevo Hunter K50 REEV pickup features a 31.18 kWh battery and a total driving range of over 1,000 km. The Nevo Q05 PHEV, on the other hand, offers up to 1,215 km of combined range. Meanwhile, the Lumin BEV caters to urban users with a driving range of up to 301 km on a single charge.

Through the Drive Smart, Drive Changan campaign, Inchcape Philippines emphasized its commitment to delivering intelligent, safe, and practical mobility solutions. The display also featured promo offers, interactive activities, and customer engagement programs to enhance the overall ownership experience.

Sustained progress of Changan’s new campaign will depend on consistency in after-sales support and long-term reliability. The strategy is sound, but execution will define how far the campaign can go.
