Toyota has officially announced that the all-new Hilux will debut globally on November 10, with the Thailand market getting the first dibs, which confirms our previous report. This announcement also serves as Toyota’s counterpunch to the news about the next-generation Nissan Navara’s release.
The details about the 2026 Toyota Hilux are limited as of the moment, but the Japanese automaker did release a teaser video to further hype the arrival of its all-new midsize pickup truck. From the teaser video released by Toyota Thailand, it is evident that the all-new Hilux will feature a sharper, more angular, and more aggressive exterior design.

One of the design details we can expect is that the all-new Hilux will have a more prominent sculpted hood, which indicates that Toyota wants to make the said pickup truck more aggressive-looking than the outgoing model.
The teaser video also shows a new headlight design, a more angular front bumper, a sport bar, and revamped taillights that now come with a C-shaped cluster. You can also spot that the Hilux’s black alloy wheels and the ‘Toyota’ emblem on the front grille.

Toyota has yet to give a sneak peek of the Hilux’s new interior, but based on our previous report, the pickup truck could most likely come with an entirely redesigned cabin, featuring a dual 12.3-inch screen setup for both the driver info display and infotainment.
Under the hood, reports state that the all-new Toyota Hilux could still come with a 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine, but with minor, significant upgrades. Aside from retuning the engine, Toyota expects it to achieve an improved fuel efficiency of at least five to seven percent, thanks to the addition of a start-stop system to conserve fuel.
The all-new 2026 Toyota Hilux could also come with a battery electric variant, with reports stating the upcoming model could feature dual electric motors and an all-wheel-drive system.
Expect more details to surface as the official launch date for the 2026 Toyota Hilux draws near.
