ACMobility reaffirms its commitment to continue expanding the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in the Philippines as it opens a new charging hub located at Landers Vermosa Estate in Imus, Cavite. This development comes after the successful opening of ACMobility’s EV charging station at PTT Lucena fuel station.

The new EV charging station at Landers Vermosa is said to be the first of the planned 11 Landers charging hubs to be developed under a multi-year partnership. ACMobility said that this partnership further shows its push to build the country’s EV charging network.

ACMobility believes that putting up EV charging stations within Landers’ vicinity will make EV charging more accessible to communities across the country.

“The launch of our first Landers hub in Vermosa is a milestone in building an EV ecosystem that is practical, convenient, and future-ready. Through this partnership, we are able to integrate charging into the everyday lives of more Filipinos, making sustainable mobility more accessible to communities across the country,” said ACMoblity Head of Mobility Infrastructure Carla Buencamino.

Aside from Vermosa, Landers has also opened an EV charging hub in Arca South, while nine more EV charging stations are scheduled to open in other Landers Superstore locations. This includes Landers located in Arcovia, Nuvali, Alabang, Balintawak, Fairview, Naga, Bacolod, Cebu, and Davao, completing the planned network of eleven Landers locations nationwide.

The ACMobility EV charging hub at Landers Vermosa features two 22 kW AC chargers, and it is said to be the standard setup for the succeeding or soon-to-open Landers EV charging sites.

With the introduction of EV charging within its vicinity, Landers said that the presence of EV charging stations in its superstore makes everyday convenience go hand-in-hand with promoting EVs.

“At Landers, we’ve always aimed to go beyond being just a membership superstore by offering more value and convenience to our members. We are glad that we’ve found a partner in ACMobility who shares the same vision. With EV charging now part of the Landers experience, we’re making everyday convenience go hand-in-hand with the shift to more sustainable communities nationwide,” shared Landers Superstore Deputy Chief Executive Officer Bill Cummings.

The Landers Vermosa EV charging hub is now open daily during store hours, allowing EV owners to charge while shopping or dining.
