ACMobility, Ayala’s mobility arm, is committed to continuing to scale up its electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem by making EV charging even more accessible in 2026. The company shared that it is targeting to expand its network and services further to make the EV ownership experience in the Philippines better.

Driven by its mission of Charge Anywhere, Drive Anywhere, ACMobility said that its progress over the past year reflects its commitment to developing mobility solutions. The company expressed that it makes EV charging more seamless through the following efforts: Charge at Home with safe installations by Greenstrum, Charge on the Go at ACMobility EV Charging Hubs nationwide, Charge on Demand with Power-on-Wheels (POW), and Charge Smart with Evro, ACMobility’s reliable e-mobility service partner.

The company considers that the expansion of its Power-on-Wheels (POW) was one of its key milestones in 2025. The POW is a mobile EV charging station that provides easier access to fast charging, especially for those without nearby charging stations. Equipped with onboard fast DC chargers, POW units put control in the hands of EV owners, allowing them to charge their vehicles with ease and flexibility.

Initially launched in early 2025 across select areas in Makati, Mandaluyong, and Taguig, ACMobility said that the POW now operates across the entire National Capital Region, covering all 16 cities, including the Municipality of Pateros.

The expansion included the deployment of additional POW units to service more areas in the region. These units are equipped with a 120 kW DC fast charger with CCS2 as well as GB/T plugs, catering to both full Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and select plug-in hybrids. The DC fast charger offers quicker charging times, delivering up to 30 percent charge in 10 minutes, according to ACMobility.

ACMobility also introduced the POW Emergency Charging Assistance as part of its service offering, providing on-site support for EVs with 5% state of charge or less. Drivers may receive an emergency top-up of up to 20%, as well as 12-volt battery boosting when required. Emergency services can be requested by calling or texting +63 917 143 0856.

Meanwhile, ACMobility said that individuals who are using the Evro app have seen exceptional growth in app usage, with 33,000 new registrations and over 18,000 monthly active users last year. Evro also rolled out new app features such as the Station Finder, which is a nationwide map of over 340 DOE-registered EV charging station locations.

Coinciding with the said efforts, ACMobililty remains determined to further expand its EV charging station network in the Philippines. Last year, it opened several EV charging hubs, such as in Camp John Hay in Baguio. This year, ACMobility shared that it aims to continue scaling up its EV charging infrastructure to make EV ownership better.

Autocar’s Take

ACMobility wants to ride on its momentum in 2025 by continuing to scale up its EV charging infrastructure in the Philippines this year. It remains committed to expanding the EV charging infrastructure in the country to make EV ownership more practical and to make road trips even more hassle-free.

Expanding the EV charging infrastructure would also help in eliminating range anxiety, which is one of the common issues that non-EV owners are pointing out. ACMobility understands this, which is why it is continuously improving its charging infrastructure along with other services such as the POW and the use of the Evro app. With an expanded infrastructure and better service, this could also lead to further increasing the overall vehicle sales of BYD, which happens to be under ACMobility as well.
