MG Philippines partnered with the Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation, Inc. (FBDFI) to provide assistance to deserving college students. Through this partnership, MG PH donated P1,000,000 to support FBDFI’s Bayani Scholarship Program.
MG PH’s donation will be used to cover the daily expenses of college students under the Bayani Scholarship Program. Students under the said scholarship program will receive a monthly allowance to help with their expenses. Beneficiaries will also receive academic guidance, mentorship, and access to development programs aimed at strengthening both professional skills and personal growth.
The car brand added that this campaign reflects MG PH’s commitment to giving back and investing in the next generation of Filipino leaders. By enabling students to pursue higher education without the burden of financial constraints, MG PH and FBDFI are helping turn dreams into tangible opportunities for success. MG also said that this initiative reinforces the car brand’s mission to uplift communities and make a lasting impact on the lives of young Filipinos.
“We believe that education is a powerful catalyst for change. Through this partnership, we hope to provide young Filipinos not only with financial support, but also with encouragement to keep pushing forward, overcome challenges, and build better futures for themselves and their families,” said MG Philippines President Wei Wei Zhang.

MG’s beneficiaries under the Bayani Scholarship Program consist of five first-year college students pursuing degrees in Information Systems, Psychology, Elementary Education, Tourism Management, and Hospitality Management.
These students study in schools such as Taguig City University, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and the Institute of Creative Computer Technology. MG PH shared that the scholars came from public high schools within Taguig and nearby communities, and each scholar has faced significant financial and family-related challenges.
Selection into the scholarship program is based not only on academic potential, but also on character. MG expressed that scholars are chosen for their grit, resilience in the face of adversity, and perseverance to finish college despite personal and financial hardships.
