Ford has debuted the Everest Tremor equipped with a 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost engine as a Middle East exclusive trim. The Blue Oval brand said that the new Ford Everest Tremor is designed to be an off-road-focused vehicle that packs a notable power boost compared to the standard Everest.
The 2026 Ford Everest Tremor premiered at the Liwa International Festival in Abu Dhabi. The highlight for this Middle East exclusive Everest trim is its 2.7-liter bi-turbo V6 EcoBoost engine that can put out 355 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Ford shared that the Everest Tremor with a V6 EcoBoost engine is developed to meet regional customer needs who are looking for an off-road-ready SUV.

Ford added that the Everest Tremor’s 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine offers “robust capability for confident off-road adventures and demanding driving.” Aside from having a potent V6 EcoBoost under its hood, the Everest Tremor is fitted with 17-inch all-terrain tires and Bilstein suspension, making it a more capable off-road SUV.
“The unveiling of the 2026 Ford Everest marks a new chapter for Ford in the region under our Ready.Set.Ford. direction. For more than 40 years, we’ve listened to our customers across the Middle East, and the new Everest reflects what they expect from a modern SUV: capability, everyday comfort, and advanced technology—ready for the city, the highway, and the dunes,” said Ford Middle East and North Africa President Ravi Ravichandran.

The Everest Tremor could also be a viable option for individuals who want a more performance-oriented midsize SUV due to its increase in horsepower. It could even sway some buyers who are eyeing to drive home a brand-new Ranger Raptor, as the Everest Tremor offers an extra two seats in the third row. But, one has to take note that the Everest Tremor’s 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost is still far off from the Ranger Raptor’s 3.0-liter V6’s output of 392 hp and 583 Nm of torque.
Meanwhile, the 4×4 Ford Everest that is available in the Philippine market comes with a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine that delivers 207 hp and 500 Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. However, Ford previously announced that the said 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel has been officially dropped from its stable.
