Geely unveils All-New A7 Hybrid Sedan

Geely Auto has officially launched the all-new Geely A7, a cutting-edge hybrid sedan that redefines the standards in performance, efficiency, safety, and design. Unveiled at the Geely Science and Art Museum in Chongqing, the A7 introduces next-generation technologies and a bold new direction for hybrid sedans in the global market.

The Geely A7 is the first sedan built on the Global Intelligent Electric Architecture (GEA), marking a milestone in electrified vehicle development. It is equipped with the Geely EM Super Hybrid 2.0 system—featuring the industry’s most efficient mass-production hybrid engine with a thermal efficiency of 47.26%—delivering fuel consumption as low as 2.67 liters per 100 kilometers and a range exceeding 2,100 kilometers.

Built to lead in comfort and spaciousness, the A7 features a segment-leading wheelbase of 2,845 mm and an extended body length of 4,918 mm. Rear-seat occupants benefit from 950 mm of legroom and 132 mm of knee space, while overall cabin space reaches 4.2 square meters—providing exceptional roominess unmatched in its class.

The interior elevates passenger comfort with Geely’s exclusive 10-layer “Cotton Candy” SPA seats, equipped with a 14-point acupressure massage function. A total of 28 storage compartments and a best-in-class 535-liter trunk ensure practicality and convenience for everyday use.

On the exterior, the A7 features a refined three-box silhouette, integrated headlight bar with 180-meter range, and a distinctive “Sunrise” rear light design. Twenty-one aerodynamic enhancements reduce drag to a class-leading Cd 0.229, further improving efficiency.

Inside, the premium wraparound cockpit combines leather, wood grain, and metallic accents, with class-best ambient lighting, large-area rear triangular windows, and sound-enabled headrests for an immersive travel experience.

Technologically advanced, the A7 debuts the Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system, supported by the Xingrui Intelligent Computing Center’s 23.5 EFLOPS of power. It integrates advanced voice control, visual lane navigation, and seamless mobile connectivity, offering a highly intuitive user experience.

In terms of safety, the A7 utilizes a multi-energy separation platform and Geely’s Short Blade Battery Safety System, which has undergone rigorous extreme-condition testing. The platform incorporates industry-first dual-motor (P1 and P3) backup technology, ensuring continued operation even in the event of engine failure—eliminating key EV limitations. Reinforced by a cage-like high-strength body and upgraded MacPherson suspension, the A7 is engineered to offer outstanding protection.

With the launch of the Geely A7, Geely Auto reaffirms its position at the forefront of hybrid mobility, offering a vehicle that balances innovation, practicality, and safety.
