PITX concludes fourth medical mission for transport sector

Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), through its corporate social responsibility arm Barkada ni Pete, successfully held its fourth free medical mission, “Serbisyong Alay Para sa Transport Heroes,” on June 20, 2025.

Conducted on the second floor of PITX, the initiative provided essential healthcare services to transport workers, terminal staff, and commuters. A total of 125 individuals received free medical check-ups, highlighting the growing demand for accessible healthcare in the transport community. Since its launch in 2024, the program has continued to support the well-being of frontliners in the transport sector.

The medical mission was made possible through the collaboration of PITX with partners such as Unilab, Executive Optical, and the Philippine Air Force. Services included general medical consultations, eye examinations, bone density scanning, and anemia screening.

“Our commitment to our transport community is unwavering,” said Jason Salvador, Corporate Affairs and Government Relations Director of PITX. “Through Barkada ni Pete, we aim to provide consistent support to those who serve on the frontlines of daily mobility.”

The continued success of this initiative reaffirms PITX’s dedication to community care and public service.
