Nissan Philippines kicked off its year-long celebration of 55 years in the country with “Unstoppable at 55,” a two-day event held on November 23-24, 2024, at the Venice Piazza, Grand Canal Mall in Taguig City. The event highlighted Nissan’s rich heritage and its commitment to innovation, while introducing its new tagline, Always Daring, which was first unveiled at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) earlier this year.
The celebration embodied the spirit of Always Daring, showcasing Nissan’s bold journey in bringing innovative vehicles and services to the Philippine market.
Day 1: Exclusive Festivities for Stakeholders
The first day was a vibrant gathering of media partners, car clubs, and Nissan employees. The program began with welcome messages from Nissan Philippines President Yasuhisa Masuda and Atty. Ma. Theresa Veloso, representing the City of Taguig.
One of the highlights was a panel discussion featuring long-time Nissan owners Raena Abella and Dexter Lim. They shared personal stories about their connection to Nissan, emphasizing how the brand has been an integral part of their lives. Joining them on stage, President Yasuhisa Masuda underscored the importance of these heartfelt relationships.
The event also featured the unveiling of the NISMO Capsule Collection, an exciting collaboration with the local design lab SNK ATK. This exclusive six-piece clothing line fuses fashion with the dynamic design elements of Nissan’s motorsport division, NISMO.
Nissan also recognized its dedicated car clubs for their passion and loyalty, acknowledging their vital role in building the brand’s legacy in the Philippines.
Day 2: A Celebration for All
The second day opened its doors to the public, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in Nissan’s legacy through interactive activities and exciting giveaways, including exclusive Nissan merchandise.
The centerpiece of the event was the Nissan Heritage Display, which showcased an array of the brand’s iconic vehicles. Attendees were thrilled to see classic models like the legendary Fairlady Z and R32 Skyline GT-R alongside modern marvels such as the Nissan Z and Z NISMO. Each vehicle represented a milestone in Nissan’s history, inspiring admiration from enthusiasts and casual fans alike.
President Yasuhisa Masuda shared his optimism for the future, stating, “For 55 years, Nissan has been part of the Filipino journey, delivering iconic, reliable vehicles.
