All-new Toyota Wigo makes Philippine debut

Being an important model in the brand’s local lineup, Toyota’s best-selling hatchback receives improvements in appearance, technology, and driving performance.

Celebrating its official launch, TMP showcases the all-new Toyota Wigo at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City. Open for everyone to see is the full lineup of the Wigo. From the top-of-the-line G model down to the base J model, and even a GR-accessorized model.

All-new Toyota WigoPacked with aggressive lines for a complete sporty design the all-new Toyota Wigo now comes with a 3760mm by 1655mm by 1515mm dimension. Now bigger and wider than its predecessor, the new Wigo features increased interior and cargo space making daily driving duties more efficient and comfortable.

For J variant buyers, it is also worth noting that the base model Wigo only sports very minimal exterior difference than the mid-trim E variant. The Wigo has LED headlights across variants, even the base model J.

As for in-car entertainment, the G and E variants feature 8-inch display audio that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The all-new Wigo features an analog gauge panel with digital info display cluster across variants including the base J model.

Powering the Toyota Wigo is the tried and tested 1.0-liter inline-three cylinder 12-valve DOHC with VVT engine that is rated to output 67ps and 89Nm torque. The latest Wigo now comes with CVT that is available in G and E variants. The J variant is available in 5-speed manual transmission.

Safety is also upped with the all-new Wigo’s advanced safety features which include SRS airbags and two rear Isofix Tether Anchors for child seats. All Wigo variants also come with Vehicle Stability Control and Hill Start Assist.

Color options available for the all-new Toyota Wigo are Silver Metallic 4, Gray Metallic 3, Yellow SE (G and E), Red Mica Metallic 2 (G only), Orange Metallic 3 (G only), and White 2 (J only).

As for pricing, the all-new Toyota Wigo comes with the suggested retail price of PHP 729,000 for the G CVT variant, PHP 684,000 for the E CVT variant, and PHP 609,000 for the J M/T variant.
