The international single-seater racing journey of the young Pinay racer, Bianca Bustamante, is on a continuous high with her F4 Italian Championship appearance this weekend. Following her impressive F1 Academy performance which consists of consistent top-10 finishes highlighted by a first career win in Spain, the 18-year-old Filipina is set to race at Spa- Francorchamps in Belguim.
Competing with other 40 drivers of the series, Bustamante will be racing under the Prema Racing Team, the same team the teenage racer is with at the F1 Academy series. Bustamante is one of the few ladies in the field this weekend. Bianca Bustamante will be racing in a Tatuus F4 T446 competing in a mixed grid race together with other race classes.
“Super excited to be here at Spa Francorchamps for the F4 Italian Championship with Prema Racing Team, it will be the biggest challenge of my career so far. I’ll be facing off against 40 of the top F4 drivers, as well as my first experience on this epic circuit including the infamous Eau Rouge & Raidillon corners, known for its massive elevation change,” said Bustamante in a post on her Facebook page.

Spa-Francorchamps is known for its Eau Rouge and Raidillion corner combination. A high speed technical section of the track that requires a lot of skill from the driver to navigate smoothly and safely.
“Here to learn as much as I can and grow as a driver, definitely can’t wait to be on track tomorrow for the 2x free practice sessions. So much to study and take in before Qualifying but head down and max push looking over data and onboard!” furthered Bianca Bustamante on a post on her official page made on May 26, prior to the race’s free practice sessions.
Race 1 of the F4 Italian Championship Spa-Francorchamps round will be on May 27, 2023 at 8:30pm (PHT), Race 2 will be on May 28, 2023 at 4:35pm (PHT) followed by Race 3 at 11:20pm (PHT).
