Car enthusiasts will gather at the Uptown Parade Grounds in Bonifacio Global City on August 13 for Bimmerfest Philippines, a gathering of BMW car and motorcycle owners from around the Philippines to showcase luxury vehicles from the renowned German brand.
The event will be the most prestigious of its kind, and guests will get to see BMW’s latest releases, along with vintage, custom, and rare models. Over 300 car and motorcycle entries are expected to be exhibited.
Bimmerfest Philippines is hosted by the BMW Car Club of the Philippines (BMWCCP), the only recognized BMW-based car club in the country by the International Council of BMW Car Clubs, with membership extended to owners of the upscale cars.
“This year’s Bimmerfest is the 14th edition, and it aims to strengthen the growing community of BMW owners and lovers,” shares Erix Ang, President of BMWCCP. “We are all united by our passion for the brand, which is known worldwide as the ‘ultimate driving machine.’ We want to share with guests why we love BMW and why it’s such a great investment.”
At this year’s Bimmerfest, guests can enjoy a variety of activities that the organizers have prepared. Co-Presenter Shell V-Power Nitro+ will be sponsoring games for the car clubs and will be giving away fuel vouchers and freebies to those who participate. The much awaited Bimmerfest car competition will also be bigger than ever as trophies and sponsored prizes will be given away to the best of each BMW model, best stock cars, best modified cars, and best classic cars that will be displayed.
The BMW Car Club of the Philippines will also be unveiling SYNERGY – an E90 Official Service Mobile acquired from Asian Carmakers Corporation BMW. The vehicle will add a dimension of security and assurance for club member cars during their monthly fun drives and activities. It will give club members immediate mechanical “first aid” for unexpected breakdowns in far-flung drive destinations.
Entrance to the general public is free. Car owners who wish to display their BMW models will come at a fee, inclusive of a Bimmerfest shirt, sponsor freebies, and an entry to the car competition. Those who apply from June 16 to July 15 can avail of the early bird rate of P1,000, while those who apply from July 16 to 31 will pay P1,250 for the regular rate. Those who apply from August 1 to 13 will pay P1,500 for the walk-in rate.
